Overnight oats have become a popular breakfast choice for good reason, they’re quick, nutritious, and incredibly versatile. Perfect for busy mornings, this make-ahead meal requires minimal preparation, and the result is a creamy, flavourful breakfast that you can enjoy straight from the fridge. Our recipe brings a delicious twist, Organic Cacao Honey!
Our recipe serves two people.
What you need...
100g rolled oats
250ml milk (dairy or plant-based)
100g Greek yoghurt (or a plant-based alternative)
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions...
Combine the Base: In a medium-sized bowl mix the rolled oats, milk, Greek yoghurt, chia seeds, vanilla extract, ground almonds
Stir Thoroughly: Ensure all ingredients are well combined, so the oats and chia seeds are evenly distributed. Then drizzle in the Organic Honey with Raw Cacao and stir well.
Refrigerate Overnight: Cover the bowl or jars and place them in the fridge overnight (or for at least 6 hours). This allows the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid, resulting in a creamy texture.
Add Toppings: In the morning, give the oats a quick stir and add your choice of fresh fruits. For added crunch, sprinkle a handful of nuts or seeds on top.
Serve and Enjoy: Your overnight oats are ready to eat straight from the jar or can be transferred to a bowl. If desired, drizzle with a little extra honey or syrup.
